As a twenty-year-old professional secret agent, I was delighted to find such a sleek, functional, and whimsical piece of spy equipment at such an affordable price. This wallet is totally cool.

First of all, the latch was fairly secure. The wallet didn't pop open on its own, even after a day in my pocket. The case itself is a firm shell, whereas I was expecting something more like faux leather. Silly me. The case also smells slightly like skunk. Can't explain that one.

However, the flip-up magnifier works well, and turns your undercover world a cool shade of green. The flashlight is also surprisingly bright. The voice recorder works right on par; it has a limited amount of recording time and is pretty quiet - but OBVIOUSLY you don't want it to be LOUD - you never know when enemies may be using a Supersonic Ear to be listening in.

I was disappointed by the wallet's storage capacities. It did hold all my paper money; however, the coin holder does not hold more than two of each type of coin, and the credit card slots did not fit all of my credit cards. It can easily and snugly fit, say, a library card, Professional Spy License, and Secret Agent Union card, but not much more. I was also sad to see that there was no special window for my driver's license.

In the end, I gave this wallet to a friend of mine, who is only eight. As he is but a young recruit, it suited all of his spy needs perfectly. He thought it was the greatest.

What Steve didn't forget

I'm a musician - but not a regular stage performer - aside from occasional concerts at the conservatory where I teach classical guitar - most of this book has little to do with my daily concerns. In spite of this, I was totally "seduced" by Steve Rapson's first section - Philosophy. I think all of us need to be reminded much more often that everything we do in life and how we do it should be based on thoughtful considerations and on projecting the "who" that we choose to be for others; i.e., a philosophy. What's so great about this book is that for Steve, success stems not from self-importance, but from the importance that we accord to the "other". This lesson in humility and generosity alone would be enough to justify the book, but aside from this, there is the laid-back and humorous way Steve has of dealing with both his subject and himself.
I wouldn't be so presumptuous as to comment on the separate bits of advice or on any particular answer that Steve gives to the questions that he poses - and perhaps, not everyone will agree with every bit of advice that he offers. This, for me is not the point. What is, is the absolute certainty that the advice comes from a person of great experience who has a sincere desire to be helpful to others.

"thirteen.....very real"

Thirteen Evan Rachel Wood

A young girl livinig with a single mother who's doing her best to raise two kids, Tracy is thrilled to start seventh grade. However, after getting there, she discovers that she isn't nearly as cool or as popular as she wants to be.

Abandoning her friends, Tracy (superbly portrayed by Evan Rachel Wood) befriends one of the popular girls, Evie (played with finesse by Nikki Reed). That is just the start of things, as Tracy's life develops into a downard spiral of drugs, sex, and crime...all to gain popularity (which, of course, in the end eludes her).

Holly Hunter, as Tracy's mother, is outstanding. Everybody is perfectly cast; at times, it's hard to tell that this is a movie. Which, in a way, is disturbing. This is not a film for the squeamish; it's realistic, and it's brutally honest. However, it is a good example of teen peer pressure (I'm a teen, so I'd know) and how some people can't cope with it.

It's been a week or two since I've seen THIRTEEN, but I still can't stop thinking about it. It's gritty, it's engaging, and it's real--you may flinch, you may cry, you may gasp "oh my God!", but you'll come away with a sense that you've been in the mind of a troubled teenage girl, and are the better for it. A classic film.

I consider myself jaded, In this hardcore/metal/extreme niche that I have carved for myself I have seen and heard it all (or at least I thought I had until I heard Sikth. I bought this LP on a whim after seeing the video for "Bland Street Bloom" on the Bieler Bros. Records website and I am glad I did. Their sound is an undescribable montage of their influences infused with a unique je ne sais quoi that enthralls the listener and keeps them coming back. If you are into noise core or are mildly psychotic, misanthropic and somewhat homicidal check them out and revel in the utter madness of it all.
