Big Skinny Compact Sports Wallet
I've been using a Big Skinny since they came out. They're fantastic! I will never go back to a standard department store wallet.
I carry 2 - 3 credit cards, a drivers license, work ID proximity card, AAA card, library card, health insurance cards, metro transit proximity card, a few business cards, and finally half a dozen bills. The wallet is STILL THIN. You're actually tempted to pull it out and show it to friends and brag about it. I've converted several guys and my father-in-law this way. My wife even uses one of the ladies ones now. The clear plastic window is great for those of us that have to carry a work ID - easy to show when entering buildings and I never forget it.
My first BigSkinny was one of their classic black synthetic bi-folds (this one) - They're the thinnest. A couple of years ago I upgraded to a brown leather bi-fold. The leather is prettier and has a more business / classic wallet look. It's slightly thicker than the synthetic, but still 1/3 the thickness of a department store bi-fold. Their website, bigskinny.net has a ton of options.

Take out your current wallet. Empty it. Decide on what you ACTUALLY need to keep on you every day. If you must have over 6 or so cards than this is not for you. If you can get by with 6 or less, BUY THIS.

GREAT WALLET. My son (23 years old now) had one of those 2.5" thick wallets. He could not keep it in is back pocket. I gave him my spare Big Skilly. He loves it.
BUY THIS WALLET. You will be promoting it like I do.
BalasHapusWOW - I now can sit on my wallet. Have also talked 2 other friends into one. Works great, very durable however does soak up water fast where leather would excel a bit more. I'm talking about damp jeans, etc. Not falling in a lake. :)
BalasHapusI procrastinated for a while on which new phone to buy, based on how comfortably it would fit in my pocket... Then I noticed that my wallet was over 25mm thick, and I was looking at phones between 7 and 10mm thick. With everything packed in, this is half the thickness of my old leather front pocket (triple folding) wallet. In fact, with the same contents I used to have in my old wallet, this is just slightly thinner than that wallet with nothing it it!
BalasHapusIn summary, comfortable and light. I typically have 9 cards, plus my drivers license, some cash and a couple of business cards in it. No issues so far with durability or cards falling out. It does take a little extra thought at first to pull out the correct card, since the pockets are shared, but after a couple of days this is a non issue.
One potential issue, it is sized perfectly for US bills. If you travel and carry foreign bills, or like to store receipts in your wallet, you will find yourself folding them, or the edge will stick out.
