This camera bag is a very nice canvas type material. Very sturdy and stiff. If that makes sense. The exterior is 7 1/4" long, 6" deep, 7" high. Interior main compartment is 6 1/4 Long, 4 1/2 Deep and 6 1/4 High. THere is a pocket all across the front but it is pretty narrow. My batteries fit great in there and the charger. The Canon SX30IS fits perfectly inside and I put my extra charger in under the lens and I can just grab the camera out quickly. I have a hand strap on it and that is the best thing I ever bought. THere is also a mesh pocket all across the lid for cards. I love the feet on the bottom. I bought another larger bag to put all the extra stuff I have in for taking on a trip but this bag is great around the house. I live on 3 acres with lots of animals and flowers and I take this around outside with me and I can just put it down anywhere and the camera is kept safe. I almost returned it because it seemed so small until my daughter suggested a better use for it. I wish I knew the size and photos of the inside before I purchased it but I made sure I added that to the description and in my review for other people. I made a video review but it is with my cell phone and very hard to show you the case properly while holding the phone at the same time but I did try..
